Peg:

Great to see you here! I really enjoyed your piece and am able to say, with relative confindence, that you share some of Scott's mannerisms with language. Wonderful! I especially enjoyed:

"Yes! To be in that abject manner of impurity, so dirty you don’t want to stop, come in the house and clean up; yet not dirty enough to have satisfied the filth that is you."

as well as:

". . . doing exactly what they have been born to do. Their destiny fulfilled, their sense of raw defilement satiated."

I'm glad to see that you finally got through our beloved (though finicky) editor. Splendid!

Very nice AP! My favorite kind of dirt is the kind we used get from the bottom of Winona Lake. Not near shore but the kind we found near the center, 15 feet below the waters surface. It was dark brown and black muck and perfect for throwing at your friends. As we laughed, retaliation would be felt and smelled all over our own faces. Then it only made sense to cover our entire bodies in the black filth. Black-Warrior-Monsters-of-the-Lake. Thanks for reminding me of my dirty side. haha
